'Identities' by Can Dağarslanı

Turkish photographer Can Dagarslani captures marvelous portraits of the two girls Sophie Bogdan and Marlene Pina. He became increasingly more interested in photography while studying architecture. It all began in 2003 when Dagarslani started working on landscape shoots of different places that would bring out each city’s architectural plan. When Dagarslani discovered analography, his digital camera was putted aside for an analog camera that triggered his passion for photography.
According to Dağarslanı, “People attempt to amplify and push the limits of reality. I believe I can surprise viewers by not presenting any quirkiness, yet still avoiding being ordinary. I keep the natural light and the colours of objects as it is and mostly play with scenes and the models’ posture.”
